miraclesawake: Mises meme Mises, of the Austrian economic school, is Ron Paul’s big influence. Basically, Mises believed that the consumer knew enough to know how much to pay and didn’t need an EPA, consumer protection, or other safety nets. However, he thought socialism and liberalism would always fail because plans for the future cannot include complete price information - only the free market can.
